We have arranged special conference rates at two different accommodation options:

Please note that this accommodation must be booked through Event Dynamics to be able to be liable for the special conference rates.

[O'RORKE HALL]O'Rorke Hall

O'Rorke is one of the University of Auckland's halls of residence, and is located at 16 Mount Street, Auckland City. It is a three minute walk from the free city bus route (which goes to Sky City), and is a 10 minute walk from Sky City itself.

Accommodation is in comfortable, fully-furnished single bedrooms, all with internet access. Four to seven rooms make up a "pod". Residents of a pod share a bathroom with a separate lockable shower, separate toilet and dual vanity. Each floor has a large common room with a television and a stove, fridge, toaster and kettle. Guests enjoy the use of an in-house library, computer room, games room and music room. A volleyball court and large barbecue patio are popular outdoors relaxation areas. Breakfast is included in the price.

Securing Accommodation

Please ensure a credit card number and expiry is provided when booking accommodation. Your credit card will be handed over to your selected accommodation provider to guarantee your room. Your account is to be settled directly with the hotel upon check-out.

CATE and Event Dynamics do not accept responsibility for any charges relating to accommodation rooms or your stay. Additionally we do not accept responsibility for late and no show fees.

Sharing Accommodation

Delegates who intend to share a room should indicate the name of the person with whom they wish to share on the registration form. Only ONE of the sharing delegates should submit the accommodation booking.

Changes to Accommodation

All changes to accommodation must be made in writing to Event Dynamics, NOT to the accommodation venue.

CATE and Event Dynamics can not guarantee your selected accommodation will be available, however will provide an alternative option should this occur. Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings.

Cancellation of Accommodation

Cancellations must be advised in writing to Event Dynamics. The deposit will be forfeited for all cancellations received after 22nd October, 2010 or if the room is not occupied on the advised date of arrival.
